Devastating Suicide Rocks Trump Family

The Trump family is in mourning this week after their close friend Jason Hairston, a former NFL player, committed suicide. He was 47 years-old.

Daily Mail reported that Hairston was found dead at his home in Dixon, California on Tuesday. He killed himself just days after returning from a hunting trip with Donald Trump Jr. in Canada. Hairston had been a close friend of Donald Jr.’s as well as the rest of the Trump family.

“Jason, I have no words. I will always remember our adventures and sharing a campfire with you,” Donald Jr. wrote on Instagram. “They will be some of my fondest experiences in the outdoors. You were and will continue to be an inspiration to all outdoorsmen and women for generations to come. Thanks for the friendship and the memories buddy. I’m going to miss you.”

Hairston is the founder of the hunting apparel business Kuiu, which he grew into a company that was valued at $50 million earlier this year.

“We are incredibly saddened to report that Jason Hairston, the visionary leader and founder of KUIU, was found dead at his home in Dixon, CA on September 4, 2018,” the company said in a statement. “He took his own life.”

Hairston is survived by his wife Kirstyn, son Cash and daughter Coco.

Hairston is the latest in a long line of NFL players who may have lost his life due to CTE, which was found in former league players including Aaron Hernandez, Junior Seau and Frank Gifford. While alive, a person can’t be diagnosed with CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy), even if they do suffer from clear symptoms.

Please keep Hairston’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers!
